People are not just rejecting Starmer personally. They are rejecting the whole project. The relentless inescapability of These Cunts In Particular. The reason people in the press can't see it is because this is their project, that they sweated and bled to force on us, and they can't admit error.
Again: Starmer is less popular than Truss and Johnson because he was supposed to not be this, he was the lifeline people desperately reached out for. But the job of the Labour right is to say, no, fuck you, whoever you vote for, it's just us again. Be grateful, peasants.
In today's episode of Everything Is America Now, here's Starmer's disgraced ex-director of political strategy blaming Labour's failures on a Brit version of the US Deep State, made up of NGOs, activists, lawyers & regulators.

If this sounds like far rightism à la Cummings, that's because it 100% is

🙄The PM hopes that
• an increase in the minimum wage (negated because of fiscal drag)
• cuts to energy bills (that have just increased for the 6th time)
• and the freezing of rail fares, fuel duty and prescription charges (already unaffordable) will make people feel better off.

He does not get it

Can see the period between now and Starmer's resignation being a constant stream of centrist think pieces explaining how an awful, heartless, self-centred, bubo of a man is deserving of sympathy.

Mamdani really did just describe exactly a guy like him and his job and they can’t process it like Rumpelstiltskin being told his name no issue

“A decent man” does not apologise for ripping off Enoch Powell, then rescind the apology and say that he meant it. And that’s before we get into criminalising protests against the genocide you are complicit in.

Yes, it means people, particularly columnists yourself, are prepared to give vile opinions a free pass if they’re delivered politely by a man in a suit.

No, I wasn't privately educated so I don't prioritise order and the veneer of good manners over actual justice. My bank balance has never ticked over 6 figures so my interests are more aligned with the creating justice whilst being a bit rude to some people side of things. Also, you're a rich wanker

We're challenging this terrible Labour Government.

And we're ready to take on Reform.

I spoke with the Guardian:

‘We were missing in the conversation’: how Zack Polanski hit on plan to beat Reform at their own game
This time last year Polanski was barely known outside the party. Now he’s hoping for success at May’s local elections – by taking a page from Nigel Farage’s playbook

The whole point of the Starmer project was to grind home once and for all that Britain can never be better than this, and anyone who tries to improve society somewhat will be *fucking annihilated* by all these people, together. It’s shit, it’s supposed to be shit and if you don’t like it, fuck off.

People moan about health and safety and red tape etc, this stuff actually really matters
The entire ski resort bar roof was covered in basic soundproofing foam?!

With a single narrow stairway to exit?

This was absolutely a disaster waiting to happen and I don't want to see a single person blaming the kids and staff members that night who weren't responsible for that setup.

Dear Lisa Nandy, as media secretary why is this platform not good enough for you and the rest of the govt?
Is it because its not far right enough or because its owners don't produce child porn?

It would seem (as we have all been saying) Starmer’s Labour government haven’t even tried to make things better. In fact they have made them worse; unless you’re one of the 1% or an MP

This. Voted Labour my whole life. I could even stomach some of the nasty Miliband policies pre Corbyn. But this party now is just too far.
They campaigned on “change” as a slogan. They’ve just conned all of their voters by delivering mostly more of the same.

Most of the derangement about Mamdani is for the obvious reasons but part of it is also that a surprising amount of people were committed to the Cuomo rehabilitation project because they hated the idea that anything could have consequences for men of the right class.

Unironically, I really don't think the Lib Dems should associate themselves with a brand this toxic.

Which feels completely insane to say given we're talking about the Lib fucking Dems.
🚨 NEW: Labour and the Lib Dems are planning a tactical voting strategy to stop Reform in 2029

It shouldn’t be a mystery considering Starmer is a cunt.
You can’t lead a Labour Party and be hostile towards trans people, disabled people and immigrants. Like what the fuck.
Glad the FT is asking the question. Even if I’m not convinced they found a compelling answer.
I get that Starmer & Reeves are unpopular, I really don’t understand the extent of the dislike.

Starmer and Labour are enacting decline and division. They have attacked a huge swathe of minorities with their Tory style policy of constant culture war. Starmer hates the left. Leaving the Labour Party was one of the best things I've done in recent memory!

As a long time Labour Party member, I didn't resign because I was seduced by the Greens. It was because I was disgusted by the bigotry of Cooper, Mahmood, & Starmer.

Only when Labour made me politically homeless did I look at the Greens. Then I joined them.

I need a party with a moral compass.

Labour turned their guns on all of their natural supporters, they even vilified and abused their own membership. They did these things to chase the votes of people that already detest them and will never vote for them.

They are now wondering why they are so unpopular.

So they're also stupid.
