I keep thinking about how terrible it is that so many people will be losing their health insurance in January due to costs and cuts. I was rejected from insurance once before the ACA [preexisting conditions]. I was hospitalized that year and it almost bankrupted me. We need universal heathcare ASAP.

I had shingles in my mid-20s. I got my vaccine in my mid-50s. The second shot suuuuuucked hardcore. But the actual breakout was 20 times worse. Get the vaccine, trust me.
All over my FB people talking about their bad experiences with shingles vax and dissuading each other from getting it! We need to give people real info on how to mitigate the symtoms caused by vaccines because vaccines are always better than meeting a virus unprepared. Yet drs aren't coaching ppl

I give a lot of shit to people who think a dog couldn’t harm them or anyone else, so let me just say do not adopt a wild cat, that will be a bad time for all
just watched a few dozen videos from the TikTok account of the people who own a caracal cat which very clearly should not be a pet and wants to kill them (every video is like this)

The last ward I was in, come to find out they have a horrible record with tons of lawsuits & horrible conditions described in an expose. And that's my freaking life. And it's not only my life, because it is this way systemically.
Horrors are this standard for Black people in mental hospitals that I'll randomly hear someplace was even worse than I thought while I was surviving it. St. Elizabeth's hospital in DC has graveyards full of unmarked graves of Black patients, I learned today, & I went to mental health court there.

Hey y’all. My sister & I are facing an urgent housing crisis. Because of a major snowstorm, we haven’t been able to work, & now we can’t cover the full cost of our temporary housing for tomorrow. We’re doing everything we can to stay safe, warm, & stable, but we need help to get through this moment.
