GORPMAAAAAAN!!!!!
Let me be the first to say, as the Active Measures, LLC, that I believe Epstein *may not* be a credible source of information about things Epstein does, including with Russia.

But, we haven't gotten Bleemer and Gorpman in ages, and we deserve a little (as a treat).
NEW: Jeffrey Epstein said in emails that he had been advising the Russian government on how to deal with Donald Trump, one of several cases in which he wielded his connections to try to influence the course of foreign affairs. w @nahaltoosi

I mean I know it’s official Congress Business so it shouldn’t be surprising but it’s still weird and hilarious that this is just…a thing that was televised.
I just watched Rep. Grijalva sign the Epstein files discharge petition on the House floor. LFG

Not EVERYONE everyone. (Not here on the Wordcel Website!) But mostly everyone, yes.
Seen a few of the epstein emails now, all with different people and it's not the main issue here but is everyone illiterate

When your theory of the case rests on someone acting in a way that could be characterized as THIS absurd and self-destructive, it's possible your theory of the case is...incomplete.
I have in my hands definitive evidence that my opponent has committed a world-historic evil. Evidence that, were it to be released to the public, would cause his supporters to abandon him and his entire world to crumble to dust. I therefore have no choice but to give in to every one of his demands

hung out with some beetle people, mentioned fairy shrimp, and they mentioned a specialist ground beetle which is a fairy shrimp predator. how can you know that much of the story and then not know the best part, which is that the beetles only hunt at night because the shrimp GLOW IN THE DARK

Look, of COURSE the email says President Trump "knew about the girls". Did you NOT notice that it's CLEARLY in the context of "telling [them] to stop"? This is TOTAL EXONERATION.

I always hate having to acknowledge Trump's humanity at all (except for the "mortality" part) but sometimes I'm like "damn this cold af Diet Coke really is perfect right now, I get it."

Indeed, it had better be! I’m temperamentally averse to “insurgencies,” self-designated or otherwise, but with this guy I was like “eh he seems normal, it’s fine.”
This point absolutely correct and I will add that Mamdani demonstrates that an insurgency, even one with real moral clarity and anger at the status quo, can still be cheerful and inviting.

the thing about how people think about politicians is weird because politicians are mostly not living in hyperreality, especially on the Democratic side. is it true that the battle for America is in fact in hyperreality?yes, but it’s hard to blame them for not adjusting to that when it’s work for them

Well okay then. I was wondering if/when any of this would actually start happening. At least somebody is putting their money and effort where their mouth is. And we'll see what happens! I keep an open mind.
Indivisible in an email tonight, starting project to primary Senate capitulators:

"At some point, you gotta either change your leaders’ minds or you gotta change your leaders. And the time for changing minds is over."

I literally did not know I got tomorrow off. Or had forgotten. Probably this happens to me every November. I'm still in shock.

Everyone's been furious already about this and I have nothing to add. Except that every time I see Angus King I think "Jean and Scotty never have to worry."
Sen. Angus King: "Standing up to Donald Trump didn't work"
November 10, 2025 at 8:40 PM
I mean we have ALL said that and all been dead serious! It’s not even a controversial opinion, really. It’s just…not a thing you can do if you’re planning on keeping this constitution at all. So what are we doing here? Come on.
Abolish the Senate. I am absolutely dead serious.
Shaheen: "We've heard from a number of our colleagues on the other side of the aisle that they're willing to come to the table, they're willing to work with us once the govt is open to get this done. We've heard the same thing from the White House. So now we'll see if they're really gonna work w/us"

this mostly seems right, yeah. I don't really agree with the "dog" thing but follow your heart.
I have thoughts, and they aren’t going to fit neatly into Bluesky posts. Briefly:

1. The deal sucks.
2. Probably not as much as you think it does.
3. It’s good to be mad.
4. FFS, be madder at the GOP.
5. Strategy is hard.
5b. Timing matters.
6. The fight isn’t over.
7. Go pet a cat. (Or a dog.)
