Metroid is one of the worst series to do this for.
Most Metroid games don't even have dialogue. It's about tension and solitary exploration.

You never see someone with this type of attitude get assigned to review a Call of Duty game even though it would be entirely warranted; it’s always a Japanese game and usually some kind of beat em up that receives this kind of blanket dismissal lol
