Calls for civility are often weaponized by abusers, by bigots, by those who would oppress you. If it is considered impolite to speak out against dishonor, then it is time for a true warrior to be rude.

Patty, a woman observer in Minneapolis, was abducted from a car by federal agents today. She was released and talked about her experience in custody.

An agent said, "You guys gotta stop obstructing us. That's why that lesbian bitch is dead."

Saw more of these today, seen on Lake Street in Uptown Minneapolis.

Person walks past large wheat pasted posters of Renee Good that read:

"Renee Nicole Good"
"American Mom"
"Murdered by ICE"

She's one of several people I've seen on tiktok lately who have said that their passports suddenly stopped working. Not expired. Some had to get emergency passports. Some had to return back to the US.

Greg and I were pretty close while at Morehouse. One of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. He truly doesn’t deserve this treatment. Please support if you are able to.
The resident dean who was fired was given only ten days to vacate his housing. @harvard.edu is putting a Black family — with a newborn baby — out on the street because of comments opposing white supremacy.

When they try to prevent trans children from expressing themselves as trans people, they are trying to snuff out the possibility that they will grow up into trans adults

That is literally genocidal logic

People not in the US routinely downplay the degree to which law enforcement in this country is willing to kill us.

In grad school I referenced this analysis that found that cops in the US kill more people than "criminals" do in other countries. And that's routine.

In 2026 let’s normalize masking for public health.

If we could admit that with healthcare being gutted, vaccine access restricted and previously eradicated diseases coming back… having an extra layer like a respirator makes good sense.

Let’s also normalize not mocking people who mask!

What a clever strategy. F&ck ICE.
“The goal of the protests, Newcomb explains, is twofold: to pressure hotels to stop housing ICE agents and disrupt agents’ ability to operate efficiently. She adds that organizers verify through several sources before targeting a hotel where ICE agents are staying.”
Inside the Protest Movement Keeping Immigration Agents Awake
'Immigrant families aren’t sleeping well right now either,' says Megan Newcomb, an organizer of a hotel demonstration.

Before Covid began, I’d just accept that I was gonna get sick for two weeks or more if I shared space with literally anyone who was sick! No more! Even if they made the perfect vaccine for Covid tomorrow masking will always be a regular practice for me. What an amazing thing!

More than 80% of immigrants arrested in the DC surge had no criminal records.

So why are they being grabbed? For being the wrong colour.

The National Guard has been deployed to DC to assist with “violent criminals” and yet their own data show that most people have done absolutely nothing wrong
Most immigrants arrested in Trump’s D.C. crackdown had no criminal records
A Post analysis of federal data shows that the arrests of immigrants with no prior criminal record shot up sixfold during the Trump administration’s crackdown.

Since February, according to my latest analysis, almost 600,000 Black women have been economically sidelined. The November 20, 2025, Jobs Report makes clear this isn’t a blip. It’s a structural crisis. That is not a recovery. It is a redistribution of opportunity.

We lost Roe because they wanted to give the power back to the states.

We’re about to lose the department of education for the exact same reason.

But when it comes to AI, which enriches Trump’s billionaire friends, they want an EO to block state’s from creating AI regulations.

The draft surfaced after President Donald Trump called for a single federal standard on AI "instead of a patchwork of 50 State Regulatory Regimes."

This week, I withdrew from a speaking engagement at a public university because they sent me a list of prohibited “words & concepts.” I will not humor this censorship. It does a disservice to the stories I’m discussing & the audience, who deserve unfettered access to information & conversation.
