Guys. 1st of all. I love you. 2nd of all, I had two (2) puffs of my friends vape and now am less than entirely sober. And my therapist was like "you should ask what the person who acts like your friend meant when they said y'all aren't friends." And the 🌿 made me brave enough I think I could?

This is a thread well worth reading.
Hate to be callous, but- welcome to being Native. You live your entire life with the fact that 99% of everyone in the US, including yourself probably, is blood-related to people who burned your nation to the ground to get land and gold, and you just have to *live* with that.
I stand by the idea that a lot of the anger, and anguish, comes from us not knowing how to deal with the fact that a significant % of the rest of the country hurt us, intentionally or otherwise.

Things had been better than they'd been in a long time. Good enough Izzy started to relax. That was probably his biggest mistake, letting himself be lulled into a sense of security. Because it turned out while Izzy was calming down for once, Ed was self sabotaging. Izzy was livid with both of them.

I'm not doing great tbqh. All of my problems are so minor as to make me feel bad about wanting to complain about them. Nonetheless they exist and are adding up rapidly and in 2 weeks I think I'll be fine but in this exact moment in time everything is just very fucking hard.
