Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

I'm going to try to write the newsletter this week on my deep sense of commentary fatigue. A little ironic I suppose, but I feel we're spending too much effort trying to interpret and explain our time to one another and not enough effort accepting it and meeting the moment on it's own terms.

oh hahaha no, I'm sorry apparently a full half of the 3000 settlement per book goes to the publisher, so I think my total share is $3750 for stealing my work in an attempt to replace me
Assuming there aren't other fees or splits I'm not aware of, I will be paid $7500 for my life's work being fed into The Machine, and also they won't be removing my work from The Machine
