There's a reason anti-Southern sentiment skyrocketed when the North was forced to allow slave catchers in. Just like today, neighbors saw decent people kidnapped from their homes by vile thugs, and the veil was stripped away. This is the ugly truth of white supremacy.
Facts on facts. I had the same thought re: Slave Catchers.
But a lot of people won't make that connection certain people don't want to teach/learn about slavery and what really was going on in that time because they can't blame some other country.

One of the stories that makes me the saddest out of this ICE invasion is one out of the Minnesota Star Tribune today about ICE agents eating at a little Mexican restaurant in the small town of Willmar, Minn, —and then, when they were done, arresting some of the workers.

they didn’t leak it to make the shooter look innocent, but to make the victim look guilty. not guilty of a crime. guilty of having a visibly queer wife. guilty of liberalism. guilty of opposing the regime. they don’t seek to exonerate themselves, only to demonstrate who deserves to die.
In the video that the shooter took, which I believe was leaked to be exculpatory, he appears to yell “fucking bitch” after he shoots Renee Good.

I delayed flu vaccines because we were moving and I didn't want to get wiped out by it. Then I had to delay because the kids had ear infections. Then I scheduled it and they brought home the flu, so fuck me.
