I can finally talk about Outer Worlds 2!

Its really good!

It would be a top 5 of 2025 for me if it wasnt already such a stacked year. If you've been craving something like Fallout but with more humor and variety, it more than scratches the open world choice-driven RPG shooter itch.

With a little tuning for the later leveling brackets, Heroic World Tier could be the best thing added to WoW since... well I guess since Delves... which came in TWW...

...I've always loved the leveling journey in WoW, this makes it *so* much more engaging and rewarding. Its a lot like Classic, tbh.

Sad to hear about layoffs at Heart Machine. I feel like Hyper Light Breaker had a lot of potential but just never found the player base or gameplay loop it needed to pop off.

Just finished the true ending of Hades 2, after finishing Silksong's Act 3 and what's available for Deltarune rn. Rarely does a gamer get to experience three of their favorite pieces of media for the first time back to back like this, my gaming dopamine receptors are *fried* lmao.

After playing Expedition 33 and Deltarune this year, I didn't think Silksong would be able to break into my GOTY list. I knew it would be good, but I didn't think it could capture the magic of Hollow Knight again. BOY was I wrong. Unless something crazy happens, Silksong is my personal GOTY so far.

Just ghoulish and completely tone-deaf, in my humble opinion as a normal human being. Don't get me wrong, I think AI has its use cases, but there are countless better ways to seek emotional support than to turn to the soulless plagiarism machine.
