In 2022, when Yvon Chouinard restructured Patagonia to be owned by a trust with profits going to fight the climate crisis, there were many stupid "lessons for startups" articles.
Patagonia is what it is because this rock climber with a particular ethos built it up over decades and kept it private.

As someone who rides all winter long, this is a really great thread! As Travis notes, everyone is different, but this gives a great overview of areas to focus on and potential clothing options.
In honor of my first <30ºF bike commute of the season, let's talk about how to stay warm in the 20s, 10s, and even 0s.
For years I biked for transit in Boston 9 months a year, pausing in winter – but one year I decided to just keep going. So can you!
Here are some tips 👇🏻, please share yours too!

Just noticed on an old VHS that Robert Patrick was wearing a NIN shirt when he was 3D scanned for the T-1000. That would have been 1990, so he was proudly supporting his brother Richard Patrick, who was in a new band called Nine Inch Nails at the time.

You ever call a senator's office and ask the staffer who picks up what it's like to work for someone without a spine?

pretty sure you should replace "progressive groups are" with "every democrat with a pulse who is not actually in the senate is."
Progressive groups are calling for Chuck Schumer's ouster after centrist Dems' shutdown cave. Dem senators' phone lines are "exploding" with the same demands. So far, Senate Dems don't have a ton to say.

Furious Liberals Call for Schumer to Step Aside, Senate Dems Mostly Quiet
After their shutdown surrender, liberal lawmakers are begging their base to unite behind them anyway – as Trumpland celebrates that their opposition is a bunch of 'p*ssies.'

Neighbor who is a better gardener said a caterpillar or two.
Impressive stripping of the leaves. I do not begrudge them.

When I got to the studio, I discovered the sage plant on the little patio no longer has any leaves whatsoever. So, my best guess is a raccoon had a salad.

Maybe not the bit about Stormtrooper dick, which made me lol.
Also, yeah I haven't been to SXSW in forever but I hate/d their panel selection process.

We love science fiction conventions! Especially indie fan-run conventions. But... they basically haven't changed since the 1970s.
How could cons change for the 21st century? We talked to a host of con veterans about panels, venues, volunteers, etc.
