Yorkshire marmite: likely to elicit strong reactions. Currently politically homeless but left of centre. Love to visit different places.
On a turn out of 27%. Voter apathy is the biggest danger.
A result which both illustrates the magnitude of the Reform threat and the problems with Labour’s “Farage is right, don’t vote for him” response. 37 point Lab to Reform swing. Labour go from first to 4th as anti-Reform vote splits 3 ways. Combined Lab/LD/Grn vote larger than Reform vote.
Red Hall & Lingfield (Darlington) Council By-Election Result:

➡️ RFM: 37.7% (New)
🌳 CON: 17.3% (-22.5)
🔶 LDM: 17.3% (New)
🌹 LAB: 16.8% (-37.1)
🌍 GRN: 9.8% (+3.6)
🙋 Ind: 1.0% (New)

Reform GAIN from Labour.
Changes w/ 2023.

They’re not really members of a political party with democratic structures though, are they?
If Farage says Reform now has 268,000 members, must be true 🙄

He could say 50 million members, it can’t be checked.. we rely on the integrity of the Party for figs

In more believable news, a Nigerian Prince will give 20% of his £700 million fortune if you help him get his money out of the Country

Ben "science isn't an exact science" Bradley, a Lego version of the Pub Landlord, who once had to apologise for suggesting the involuntary sterilisation of the poor, and said he was a fan of police violence.

Wow. They really are building a dream-team over at Reform.
Former Tory MP Ben Bradley has now defected to Reform. They really are taking all the worst people from the Boris era.

REFUK fielded 609 candidates in the 2024 GE, each allowing the party to spend £54,010 on campaigning - a total of £32,892,090. Therein lies the reason for so many questionable paper candidates.

I’m disgusted that some senior DWP people have learned nothing about the scale of the misery their policies inflicted.

It’s high time the DWP showed some respect to carers and some awareness of their own gross errors.

Good point. Would the EU even want us back with US poodle Nigel 'Make Racism Great Again' Farage leering in the background? The far-right UK threat has to be comprehensively quashed before we'd get a look in -
That is NOT to say that while #Frogface +his 🇷🇺-funded MAGA-style of a white supremacy govmt horror are looming, nobody in their right mind would dream of accepting the 🇬🇧 back in🇪🇺

UK shld apply to rejoin the economic union AND help build up a EU defence force thus build links FarArse can’t break?!💪🏻

Labour are committed to getting some money back. But I want to see measures put in place to stop corruption in our future Governments. Tax Payers should be protected from incompetence and wilful theft from people in power.

“Offord insisted that Farage was “morally fit” to be prime minister and denied he was employing dog-whistle politics”.
There is enough there to suggest that Offord’s grasp of reality is weak.

And nor should it. Farage is a dangerous racist and yet is being fast tracked into No.10 on a ruinous populist agenda, funded by shady right wing money and malign foreign interests.
People must know who and what they are voting for. That’s the very lowest bar in a democracy.
