Nice attempt at 'neutral' reporting. But aren't we beyond that now? Perhaps just go for 'Witless to meet Zelensky to tell him to roll over and do Trump's bidding or else' ...
US special envoy Steve Witkoff plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Germany this weekend to discuss a plan to end the war with Russia, according to multiple media reports.

100% And hurry.
Danish intelligence accuses US of using economic power to ‘assert its will’ over allies.

Danes have it right. The US is not a reliable ally. It is using tariffs & military threats to secure dominance.

Europe needs closer economic & military cooperation.

1. The point of the European section of the US Strategy doc is for the White House to give itself a licence, an official raison d'etre, for gross, widespread interference in European elections. They could even work with Russia, already practiced in this art.

In the light of the alarming new US 'Strategy' proposal and its clear intention to dismantle European democracy, I'm re-sharing this pertinent piece I wrote in March 25. The Trump/Putin alliance was completely predictable, and predicted -

Oh yeah. That's the stuff.

While right-wing hate movements lean on racism and bigotry to whip up support, and political centrists are too squeamish to stand against them, it's great to see a politician like @zackpolanski.bsky.social who knows that immigration is essential, and an unambiguous good.
Zack Polanski, "Labour are a government of cowards because you won't tell people the truth about migration"

"Migration is a positive thing for our country"

"We need migration"

"We need fair and managed migration"

"And that's what will change this conversation"

Re Trump's weird meeting with Mamdani -

Trump's a sucker for 'highly successful, good looking males.
Darwinian alpha male attributes instinctively count for more in Trump's brain than political allegiance. Ultimately, 'survival of the fittest' overrides sissy things like loyalty (even to party).

In the reaction of Trump's team to the Mamdani meeting, the tribal hatred & contempt is palpable + a reminder of the toxic culture in which Trump operates. Huge admiration for M in being SO winning (done his homework) that Trump couldn't resist & found himself violating the terms of his own tribe

1. Gah - according to the UK far-right, the BBC 'leftie' edit of Orangina's video was deliberate. Somehow they just know this. By intuition or telepathy presumably. Therefore Trump is right to pulverize this news platform belonging to an entirely different country.
