And if you don't believe what you're reading, read the oil pipeline MOU I've linked below. It's all in there.

It's absolutely disgusting.

Question for Torontonians:
(location of the Liberal base)

Do you understand how upset we are in BC over this oil pipeline MOU?

Follow up question:

Do you even care?

Honest answers only.

#cdnpoli #topoli #bcpoli #vanpoli #ClimateCrisis
Genuinely feels like there's been a coup within the Liberal party thanks to Carney and his bros.

Not to say Trudeau's Liberals were much better (they bought a pipeline!) but Carney is a full-blown red tory and I'm shocked more Liberals aren't outraged their party has been usurped like this.
Super cool that we've got a deal for a path towards a pipeline that's tied to a carbon capture project, as if that makes it okay

when carbon capture one of the most expensive and least effective options for addressing climate change, and oil companies often use it to EXTRACT MORE OIL!!!!

fuck man

Will Torontonians rage about the club using the name "Toronto," like Vancouverites raged over Metro Vancouver's CanPL club being called "Vancouver FC"?

Will TFC supporters continue to call them York, as a diss, like Whitecaps supporters call VFC "Langley FC"?

#CanPL #InterToronto #YorkUnited #TFC
The months-long rumour has come to fruition: York United is now Inter Toronto.

The Pasquels have been gearing up for this switch for a while as a part of growth plans.

Colors are blue, yellow, white. Badge to be revealed tonight.

I hope Liberals across Canada understand that they just lost BC.

And if any of you in other provinces care about future generations, you will write your MP to tell them why oil is an industry of the past.

How many right of centre parties can BC have? Hilarious.

For those keeping track, the Greens are the only left of centre party remaining in BC (with NDP moving centrist under Eby).

Can anyone tell me what countries Canada imports steel from where we don't have free trade?

Mexico = free trade
Japan = free trade
South Korea = free trade
Lithuania = free trade

Is this just a 25% tariff on China?

Or is Carney including the US?

BC's gov't is doing a review of post secondary education.

This was mainly prompted by the federal gov't reduction in international students, which has caused multiple BC public colleges to shut down campuses this year due to lack of funds.

Two things:

When Americans tell me to mind my own business, I want to riot. The dumb sh*t they do in the US affects us all.

Secondly, any Canadians who buy gas from US-owned Esso are not Elbows Up. It's not only American, it's evil. Stop supporting them.

This isn't a surprising response.

The question is how are we addressing this issue?

The recent federal government budget did little to change this reality. One could argue the corporate subsidies and tax breaks for the wealthy will make the situation worse.

It seems so obvious to us in Canada that you've been living in a fascist state since January. And yet, many of you (including Democrats) get upset when we talk about it.

It's the twilight zone.

And given Canada's current economic direction to double down on oil extraction, Canada is likely to learn a very tough lesson.

#cdnpoli #Oil #Renewables #energy #abpoli #yyc #yeg #bcpoli
more and more countries are going to see that getting off foreign oil imports is a great reason to accelerate electrification and renewables buildout, regardless of what it means for the climate
The energy transition happens often in unlikely places at unprecedented rates.

Take Nepal: Over the past year, electric vehicles accounted for 76 percent of all passenger vehicles and half of the light commercial vehicles sold in Nepal.

Five years ago, that number was essentially zero.
November 24, 2025 at 11:29 PM
This.

Furthermore, Canada is supposedly building trade relationships with EU countries. They will not appreciate Canada doubling down on oil. The potential losses in trade with the EU are immense.

#cdnpoli #bcpoli #topoli #EU #Oil #ClimateCrisis
Pipelines: $145m year per $1b invested.

Solar & Wind: $180m per year per $1b invested.

Hydro dams: $167m per year per $1 invested.

Geothermal: $160m per year per $1b invested.

If I am private equity why would I invest more money into the loosing industry? Both AB and BC have access to all three.

Everyone going in on Cherundolo because, well, it's a stupid statement.

What he should have said is that the Whitecaps were better in the first half and penales, while LAFC were the better side in the 2nd half and extra time. And LAFC should have scored in extra time 11 v 9.

Same issue in BC.

Metro Van & Fraser Valley has a population of 3.5M people and Vancouver FC struggles to draw 1,000 fans to a 6,500 seat stadium.

Canadians are only Elbows Up in supporting Canadian products if those products come in a jar or can, apparently.
