Right, the answer isn't to abandon the party to these weasels.

The answer is to flood the party with people who will take it over and transform it.
Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.

Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.

One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.

Keep having this feeling every time I see a trailer for Fire and Ash. I’m excited for it, but three years feels like nothing!
It is weird to be watching a new Avatar trailer a mere three years after the last one. Like, calm down James.

I wonder if Kyler Murray ever thinks about how he could be in the prime of his arbitration years right now, making $5.4 million to play 81 games a year in Sacramento while batting in front of Jacob Wilson and Nick Kurtz

Got an ad for War Thunder. Always weird to see that’s a real game and not just a venue for accidentally leaking military secrets.

Enjoyed Predator: Badlands. Occurred to me during the finale that Trachtenberg might be the heir apparent to James Cameron in how good he is at the meat and potatoes stuff of set up/pay off, though he’s not as good as Cameron at making the set up stuff as entertaining in the moment as the payoff.

My daughter installed Mario Party onto the Switch 2 and now she's just sitting in a corner saying "I'm bad at this game" every few minutes. Not sure when to let her off the hook and say "no, you're not the problem here, it's this garbage-ass video game's fault."

Unknown Pleasures (2002). I made a concerted effort to watch all of Jia Zhangke’s major films before watching Caught by the Tides and this one was the one that has stuck with me the most. Such a rich and evocative film.
What is the best movie not from this year that you’ve seen this year? Bonus points if you say why

Pluribus has me reflecting on Breaking Bad. Odd, given its ubiquity now, to think that for much of its run it was only moderately successful, and every year the discussion around it online was whether it would get canceled.

I honestly don’t get the value of this company. They hoover up energy and water. Their product constantly gets things wrong and, in extreme cases, coaches people into suicide.

And it’s all built on what seems to be malicious and vast intellectual property theft.
