Very queer, unfortunately here, getting used to it. (he/him). Owns Majestic Mess Designs and makes art. Void screaming, media analysis, spoilers, GY!BE, Critical Role, queer media. Loves to draw brains symbolic of my chronic pain.

Here's a little review of since features and cultural norms for newer users:

- There is no algorithm. Liking is nice but does little to boost visibility. If you like it, share it.

- Conversely, the only way for garbage to spread is by sharing it. Don't hate-share to dunk.

I know I'm a bit late getting this out, but I had to paint this heartwrenching moment with Thimble from the first episode of Critical Role campaign 4 😭

I spent half an hour last night stood in a barely-lit graveyard in a black cassock, leaning on one of the Roman columns that are just plonked out there, steam curling from the mug of tea in my hand (it was approximately 2°c), just... Waiting. And honestly, what a ridiculous life

Oh good, they left Chiropractors as professionals but not Nurses, NPs, PA’s or physical therapists

That’s infuriating

Last month, Weber State University cancelled a conference *on censorship* after it became clear that all of the presenters (including me) would have to censor their material to comply with HB 261. I applaud your integrity and am here to commiserate—it’s a terrible law with terrible consequences.

This week, I withdrew from a speaking engagement at a public university because they sent me a list of prohibited “words & concepts.” I will not humor this censorship. It does a disservice to the stories I’m discussing & the audience, who deserve unfettered access to information & conversation.

One of the cruelest tricks society played on creative people was planting the idea that being proud of your work is somehow unseemly and egotistical.

You made a thing! You like it! You SHOULD be proud of it. Brag all you want!

For all the ghost shows I’ve been on and for all the hauntings I’ve experienced & assessed – the genuine ones are never Annabelle level ridiculous. They’re mostly domestic and sweet.

Case in point:
My house is haunted, but it’s mostly just confusing, like..it’s never really scared me - just made me second-guess my ADHD meds. According to our neighbors, our place was once owned by an elderly Italian couple who spoke little English.
do you believe in ghosts or are you like me, a person who finds themself saying all the time “I absolutely don’t believe in ghosts, but this place has ghosts.”
