Chat, is it a good sign when the Atlantic's Thanksgiving take is "cabbage is affordable"?
Cabbage is affordable, delicious, and astoundingly versatile, @giladedelman.bsky.social writes. The underrated crucifer “is fit for a king”:

This this this. Trauma doesn't usually hit in the middle of the traumatizing thing, it starts to settle afterwards. Like, say in 2021, 2022ish.
like most unprocessed traumas, it hit right when we as a society were trying to get back to 'normal' only to discover 2019 was gone, which was obviously the incumbent's fault

Oh no, not Proton.
Proton is speed running an attempt to be a little Google. Over the last year they 1) made a crypto/NFT wallet, 2) made an AI assistant, and 3) seized journalist data for a state actor without a court order. On their own each is problematic. Together, they're a pattern.

* Gummi bears weren't sold in the USA until 1981, after Haribo realized that many American service members and tourists were bringing the candy home from Europe. Gummi WORMS debuted the same year (1981), as a gross-out counterpart to the cute bears.

Siri: tell me what happened to the previous CEO of UnitedHealth.
United Health wants its ‘swagger back’.

How? By dropping a million seniors from Medicare Advantage

Why? America's largest insurer wants to improve its profit margins, medical costs are skyrocketing because the GOP cut Medicaid and ACA subsidies.

Farage is pushing the "I was 11 / 12 at the time" narrative, despite the people coming forward are saying he was older than that, in a couple of cases they say he was 18.

He did this throughout his school years from 11-18. So why are people only discussing the "11 years old" thing only?

As much as he would like to be, Farage is not our Trump so he can’t just brush this off or abuse journalists asking him questions without there being consequences. I hope the media really step up for once and start to hold this nasty piece of work account.
Still can't quite believe that "I only said 'gas the Jews' in a non-hurtful way" was the strategy Nigel Farage opted to go for
