What happened to the “fuck your feelings” brigade? Did their iddy biddy feelings get hurt? Did they make a little accident in their Kevlar diapers when a nice grandma called them a nasty name? Really tough shit for those special boys.

Pew Research Institute (2023):

• Red State Texas has about 2.1 million undocumented immigrants

• Red State Florida has 1.6 M undocumented immigrants

• Blue State Minnesota has 130,000.

And yet only Minnesota is being occupied by masked thugs over "immigration."

It's *not* about immigration.

A prerequisite to competing in, and winning fair elections is that you need political freedom and basic human rights. How could a party not, when they get power, dismantle a secret police force dedicated to imprisoning and killing them?

The killer of Renee Good proudly RECORDED THE KILLING. Body cams won't stop this. And "training" just gives ICE more money to train its agents to keep doing what they're doing.

Abolish ICE. Defund it entirely.

THREAD. Having just written a book about this and talked to a LOT of Democrats, I can assure you that neither Cory Booker nor the policing industry he’s advertising think that more money for ICE “training” and tech would address any problem that any person of good will has with what ICE is doing.

It doesn't take an idiot to see that a lot of accounts saying this are sock puppets at best. Some folks would really like to get us yelling at each other instead of ICE
Guys please stop saying I target women, trans people, women of color, that I have an issue with these groups, that I harass people, etc. Again, you don’t have to like me but those are accusations of a different order. They’ve been hallucinated in a game-of-telephone fashion, always heard secondhand.

BREAM: Is the FBI investigating the ICE agent who shot Renee Good?

BLANCHE: What happened has been reviewed by millions of Americans bc it was recorded. We investigate when it's appropriate. That is not the case here. We are not going to bow to pressure. So no, we are not investigating.

They say the man was just trying to get his meds.

ICE guards shackled him

Then they choked him.

The more I think about this, the angrier I get. It takes a particularly virulent strain of sociopathy to sit and let hard-working people serve you a meal knowing that you plan to arrest them and send them off for deportation once they're off of work.

Really depraved shit.
A few days ago, Fox News was whining about ICE agents getting heckled at a Mexican restaurant in Minneapolis.

Meanwhile, in the town of Willmar, ICE agents had lunch at a Mexican restaurant, waited until it closed, then confronted and arrested three workers as they left.

The people who advocate for violent resistance have virtually no plan to actually win. They are simply people WHO WANT TO COMMIT VIOLENCE, and have adopted "resistance" as a thin pretext to do so. They are sacrificing everyone else for their libidinal thrill.

You need to flip this on its head. If you advocate for violent resistance, or even carrying weapons, you are being selfish, placing your own desire for cathartic violence above the needs of your community. You are selling out the vast majority, who will become targets as a result of your actions.
A great thing to do if you’re an activist is throw other, braver activists under the bus and signal to the fascists that they’re fair game
What we’re doing is working. A few people - mostly angry young men who barely have ideological views, just a yearning to commit justified violence - seem almost upset that it’s working, because they wanted the chance to kill someone. The other 99.5% of us want to help our neighbors.

Four GOP Senators.

At most four Repubs in the House.

Together they could stop nearly all the mad-king's rampages. They would be known to history as Profiles in Courage. They might/would lose the next election. But people have sacrificed a lot more, for a lot less.
I can't repeat this enough.
I've said this before and I'll say it again.
It would only take a tiny handful of Republican Congress members or senators to stop the slide of America toward authoritarian fascism, but nope. They're all in.
