Apropos of nothing, if you happen to get tear gassed or pepper sprayed, remember - it gets into your hair and clothes. Take care when you next shower and do that set of clothes in a load of their own.

Okay, going to toot my own horn here, because we all need a confidence boost now and then. I am a very good lawyer, and I am a very good cook. I have reservations about doing either one of them professionally.

We have a wider problem that for too many the criminal law, which is a very specific tool for a specific purpose, has become the outer bounds of acceptable conduct. If it's not a crime, it's not a problem. And that is not what the criminal law is for.
