Sorry, my friend, but this is the dumbest thing I’ve read here. There’s a clear difference between enforcing the law with due process and secret police disappearing people. You can’t criticize Presidents for enforcing laws passed by Congress—that’s their duty.

Biden went to the border, bowing to conservative pressure. He sent Harris out with that “do not come” message and he spent his last year in office caterwauling that republicans wouldn’t sign on to a gop style immigration bill. Biden was far better overall on the issue but he pandered right.
I liked Joe Biden a lot, but he most certainly did NOT seek to appear tough on immigration. On the contrary, he sought to be humane, but it appeared to many (rightly or wrongly) that he was tolerating a chaotic situation on the southern border.

I don’t know enough about WWII history and the Nazi occupation in Europe, but I have a hunch it started like this.
I’m not sure people outside the Twin Cites realize the prevalence and the fear ICE is causing in Twin Cities. They are dining undercover pretending to be couples at restaurants, they are going to businesses and checking the license plates of cars to find employees. Every public place is compromised.
