I have been thinking a lot about how our LRT network could have looked if we embraced our high-floor regional network instead of building a more locally oriented system

The BRT town hall on Alberta Ave was really really good!
There were very few people who did not want the BRT, and a lot of discussions about which route was best. I definitely think one is worse and some are better, but it was so much more positive and constructive than other engagements

I don't think it's a bad project, but for a city that says its declining non-residential tax is a massive issue, we sure did demolish a lot of em to expand the Yellowhead...

I do love getting into the nitty-gritty problem solving of accommodating growth. Infill and mature neighbourhood repopulation is a good thing, but we do need to properly plan for good things
One issue that infill in mature neighbourhoods raises is pragmatic -- how to handle garbage carts. Taproot took a look.
