I don't think it's a bad project, but for a city that says its declining non-residential tax is a massive issue, we sure did demolish a lot of em to expand the Yellowhead...

By 1.25 million we should have had 35% of our housing growth from redevelopment, we are at about 23% as of 2024
We SHOULD welcome 500,000 more people into our existing city

1. What Calgary Trail and Gateway will look like in terms of dedicated lanes and priority
2. Making sure 109 street University are not massive bottlenecks

I know we tried with Blatchford and it didn't workout, but I really think a streetcar running through the Expo Lands connecting the east side of the site to the LRT Stations would do so well

Doing a deep dive into the Energy City Cactus Rats baseball team and their stadium. First off, this EDIFY piece calls a diamond on the edge of Spruce Grove with 1/3 the seating a "step up" from Re/Max... insane, Re/Max is one of the best stadiums I can think of edifyedmonton.com/urban/struct...

Mine is a surface tram for interlining with the Valley Line, and doesn't go all the way to ShPk because of the long gap near the refineries
