Bellingham City Council passes code around HB 1998 clearing the way for purpose built Co-Living in the city. Thanks @jessdbateman.bsky.social and @sharonshewmake.bsky.social. Parking requirements removed by 5-2 vote. Vote passes 7-0.

Bellingham City Council votes 7-0 to extend and amend an interim ordinance on middle housing 6 months and allow 6 units/property by right within 1/2 mile of 15 min bus service. (Covers probably about 70% of population)

Because Seattle's permitting department is funded by permit fees, we're set to increase those fees by 18% on top of inflation next year because of the fact that...permits are down. I'm sure that will help!
