I liked driving but I fucking love not having to

Genuinely curious what he'd be able to accomplish with a trifecta.

The Interurban should absolutely go all the way through the Chuckanuts into Skagit County. It's in the name!

On one hand, good thing they backtracked. On the other hand, I feel like listening to whomever is loudest at that moment shouldn't be the guiding hand on our transportation department.

Former SDOT director Greg Spotts was up here this week and warned against exactly this kind of backdoor process. Shame we're backsliding.

I watched a video of a Ukrainian woman with catgirl ears on her helmet along with a trans pride flag patch drop an artillery strike on an ruf position and blow up a dozen guys

Turns out 155mm doesn't care who's on either side of the barrel.

E-Bikes are so unreasonably useful and fun it's hard to stay off them.

The “E-Bike Effect:” Those who bought e-bikes increased their average daily bicycle use from 2.1km (1.3 miles) to 9.2km (5.7 miles), a 340% increase. The e-bike share of all their transportation increased dramatically too; from 17% to 49%.

E-bikes support fewer car trips.

E-Bikers Ride Much Farther and More Frequently Than Regular Bikers
They are not 'cheating,' but are serious transportation.

As impressive as Cars are on this chart it's really Aviation that makes me furrow my brow and wonder what's to be done about that. 🤔

"New York requires a quarter-inch metal-bar lattice for office drop-ceilings... These only-in-New-York systems are robust and pricey, and it’s not clear whether the rest of the country’s office drones have a problem with ceilings collapsing on their cubicles." www.vitalcitynyc.org/articles/the...
Vital City | The High Price of Fine Print
Overly complex building codes are a big reason why housing construction costs so much.

Here's hoping, likely depends on council elections this year. Some challengers would likely put them back.

Good transit oriented running this weekend! Rainier Beach Station to UW. Even found an appropriate Brooks ad in the station.
Brooks advertisement highlighting sound transit Run route from Rainier Beach Station to UW station, then taking the train back.

The differences in Summer and Winter gas from a refining perspective is largely how much butane you can put in. More in winter, less in summer. Butane has less energy, evaporates more readily, but is cheaper than other components.

E-bikes much better.

I am once again asking to sink the floating bridge. (Not the light rail section though)

I know one major construction firm that won't even bid ST jobs anymore because of the amount of dysfunction in their processes.

Honestly I'm all for tree amendments if they push council to give significant (more than cost effective) density increases.
