All it took was a comment for my county party to realize we should probably be speaking more to black voters in a county where their vote can absolutely take the election back from old white monied interests
If you are:
-a leftist
-who does not like the DNC
-and lives in a red district
-that is rural or suburban
I encourage you to check out your local Dems and maybe get involved. Red districts are often ignored by national Dems; you may have more influence to push left locally than you think.

This is, in my opinion, not only the correct moral/ethical/legal position but also the correct political framing. Everyone can see the agency is out of control; everyone can see that it is constantly violating human rights. "Scrap it and start over" is the moderate position.
