Starting November 1st, SNAP benefits are being cut, leaving millions of people with limited or no access to food.

If you are able to help, help. Food banks also take cash donations, which allow them to fill the banks with what they know is most needed.

We are truly all we have.

Individuals spend money in their communities so the money will be in the communities as people spend for their needs. If you want to give to your community you should do so and let the rest of us decide how and when we contribute in our own communities.

why are we pretending that race shouldn't be predominant when remedying racism?

it's the same problem I've always had with affirmative action being about "diversity" rather than quotas.

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION SHOULD BE ABOUT QUOTAS.

When Brazil adopted quotas for higher ed, the percentage of Afro Brazilians in higher ed shot up 400 percent and all of them did as well as non-affirmative action students.

The idea that affirmative action is stigmatizing and elevates unqualified people is a BS argument.

Screw SCOTUS. Higher Education Needs Racial Quotas. (Updated)

If the United States leaned into racial quotas instead of running screaming from them, we might have seen results like Brazil's.
