Here's my problem with the coverage of the Kim Davis case and SCOTUS: same-sex marriage is an issue that is so important to the hearts and souls of so, so many people, that to play the "Will SCOTUS take the case" game is playing with people's emotions when there was no shot that SCOTUS would take it
