I think a lot of trans people go way too easy on organisations that choose to be complicit in our oppression. I believe this is due to internalised transphobia. We often don't think we're important enough for other people to care about our safety, wellbeing, and equitable involvement in society.

I’m gonna draw a controversial conclusion from this, but it’s one I don’t think is actually wrong.
The reason “cancellation” for sex pest reasons actually boosts careers is that a majority of men identify sympathetically with these men.
I think a majority of men have violated women’s boundaries.

Years ago, my colleagues at Business Insider and I tracked YouTuber “cancellation” arcs. What we found is that for many entertainers, “cancellation” actually sets the stage for a redemption arc, one that can raise their profile higher than ever. It wasn’t career-ending. It was fuel.

They're, in most cases, so so much worse than I thought they were before doing this job.

They're, in most cases, so so much worse than I thought they were before doing this job.
As a feminist I used to think getting along with them was just a matter of better communication and helping them to process their emotions. No.
