Went and saw All You Need Is Kill last night. Private screening, since I ended up being the only one in the theater. Animation works with all the effects used. The sound design is amazing. Aside from a couple minor spots of pacing and losing location during some fight scenes, I enjoyed it.

I hoping the new movie version of All You Need Is Kill ends up being a good time. Not that I didn't enjoy the TC version, but I remember reading the original and thinking the movie was quite a bit off... Even if I no longer remember the details why. The character designs are interesting.

Organizing files and such, discovering I have chatlogs, text files, emails, etc from a wide variety of sources, most of which I'd forgotten about. Lists of BBSes, ASCII art, taglines, IRC, Glenshadow's Tavern, Anime tape trading lists, archives of hundreds of files form floppy disk backups on CD...

I'm becoming increasingly annoyed with those who throw up an event on various platforms and never update the details. If they wonder why few attend, it's because they don't take the time to give the details - format, address, times, rules, player pack contents, etc.
