early chapters of the novel had me confused (in a good way!) as to what's going on. The last time I felt this way, that I could remember at least, was during the first 3-episodes of watching Steins;Gate. 😅

I'd like to say that I also enjoyed Catriona Ward's 'The Last House On Needless Street'. This book is currently part of Kindle Unlimited which has a 1-month free trial. Although, if I say so myself, it is worth buying your own copy. It's that good! It's more of a thriller than horror and the... 1/

Reading aloud on stream is a lot slower than if I just read it normally by myself but the accountability (that I feel) when I stream this helps me go through my TBR pile a lot better. 🤭 Anyway, reading schedule here.

They implemented what could’ve been a good feature in the worst possible way by not giving users a quick way to turn it off. I came from UK so all my settings are in English but in my husband’s, a lot of videos gets auto-dubbed to French and he has to open it in a private tab. 💀
