On Jan. 14, a U.S. Senate committee will hold a hearing framed as an inquiry into the safety of medication abortion. In reality, it will be an opportunity for the committee’s antiabortion majority to showcase junk science and misleading narratives to undermine access to mifepristone.

This is stunning. Listen to this in Philadelphia.

Thousands singing “Hey-Oh, we won’t be silent while our friends are gunned down.”

Really listen to it.

For those who have forgotten the past 40 years:

Tax cuts for the rich
...don’t trickle down

Boosting military spending
...doesn’t bring peace

Slashing regulations
...doesn’t create jobs

Folks, we’ve seen this all before.

When Renee Good said "I'm not mad at you" what the ICE goon heard was "I'm not scared of you."

That's what enraged him. The populace wasn't fully terrorized and cowed into submission yet, so he acted to make that happen.

They didn’t just hate Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Gretchen Whitmer, and Kamala Harris. They hate me. They hate you. They hate any woman who isn’t performing attractive feminine submission for their pleasure.

He wasn’t hit.
He wasn’t ran over.
He wasn’t rushed to the hospital.
He inspected his murder.
He walked away from his murder.
He then drove away from the scene.
We've analysed this video of the shooting of Renee Nicole Good yesterday in Minneapolis frame-by-frame to highlight the positioning of the gun and phone in the ICE agent's hands.

For those keeping score, Bellingcat, The New York Times Visual Investigation Team, & Washington Post's Visual Forensic team have all published analysis showing the ICE shooter wasn't in the path of Renee Nicole Good’s vehicle when he shot her, contradicting statements by the President & his cronies

for some weird reason today I'm thinking of the people who spent the last thirty years hollering at me that they HAVE to have unrestricted access to firearms as a check on government abuse of power, I wonder what those loudmouthed fat-asses are hollering at people about today

That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers.

Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they?

In any other White House, this WSJ article would be immediate cause for impeachment. With Trump just add it to the pile.

New: We got an internal ICE document revealing its $100 million ad plan to bring in 14,000 new hires: deals with "tactical" influencers; ads to gun & military buffs; and geo-targeting phones around NASCAR races and gun shows.

THIIIIS!!!!!
Equating the health of the US economy to the stock market is just stupid. It just perpetuates us little people rooting for the 1% who have proven they care only for themselves
The top 10% of richest Americans own 87% of stocks.

The top 1% alone own roughly half of all stocks.

It's worth pointing out once again that the stock market is not the economy.

“The most significant resistance to Trumpism, too, appears to be abandoning the realm of literate politics; after all, you do not bring a persuasive argument to a gunfight. In Portland, Oregon, inflatable frog suits … became de rigueur.”

A long and entirely worth-the-time read.
"For Kirk and for much of society today, words are not expressions with referents, but rather, performative speech acts with specific functions — in his case, owning the libs."

#HotTake Epstein is not the biggest story by a long shot. It's a giant distraction. Trump, at the least, is actively protecting pedophiles. End of Story.

Trump should be impeached today. He's taken bribes openly. He's committed murder. Both of those we can easily prove.
