the redefinition of 'liberal' as a right-wing conservative position seems to have taken. a success for the right, no doubt, less insidious as the literary colonialism which has largely redefined the term 'woke', it continues a fight to reduce the positions centre-left/left can place themselves in.
in my experience leftists have more patience with wooly headed liberalism than liberals do with unapologetic socialism
