Slavery isn't complicated. People must never own other people. When they do, it's an orgy of physical, sexual, emotional, and economic violence that poisons every aspect of any society that permits it. And American race-based chattel slavery was the worst of all forms of slavery.
Physically incapable of analyzing politics outside of this insipid frame.

We must speak plainly about the agenda Elon Musk & other MAGA leaders are pushing. It’s white nationalism.

There’s no room for Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian, Native, Jewish or all other Americans in Musk’s monocultural vision.

Multiculturalism is superior. We can’t allow Musk & others to end it.

Breaking this down by year, job growth in 2024 was revised down by more than a quarter (-553k jobs), and 2025 was revised down by close to 70% (-403k jobs). 2025 was the weakest year for job growth since the pandemic, and before that since the Great Recession.

Famously, “inflation is easing, jobs are holding up, & growth is solid” is exactly how the media covered the economy under Joe Biden in 2022-24, when all of these things were more true than they are now 🤔🧐🤷‍♂️

I think we need to come to terms with how many people are vibes based voters, not fact based voters. Trump gave them vibes that immigration was an emergency & democrats largely ceded to that narrative.

Now that the gestapo is breaking down doors & sending children to gulags, the vibes have changed.

It's exactly this. Musk never gets called on the fact that he's been 10 years out from a moon colony for the last 16 years; Republicans never get called on anything; why wouldn't CEOs start testing out this new accountability-free zone and just say whatever's convenient to manipulate the moment?

Audits in Utah, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, and Georgia found a few dozen possible noncitizen registrants out of millions—and virtually no voting. Trump’s claim that noncitizens are swinging elections is false, says Cato’s Stephen Richer.
