My son's boyfriend is a trans man. They are 21 yro. Came out as trans in middle school. Lived with us this summer when home got too hard. They have an apartment with my other son now. He loves my son and I love him for it. I do fear for them.
How do I know that transness is a thing? J is a biological girl. J loves my son. J could simply dress masc and date my son and go about their life. But he CAN'T. He is a boy in the depths of their being. NO ONE would sign up for the abuse, hate, and fear they face bc read a book or to win sports.
The thing about people showing up early for the Lions game and us eating towards end (other than the losing) is by the time I'm done working, people start leaving. I somehow missed Eminem and like the tv is right here but ya know hostessing. Oops!

I have so much grief wrapped up in Thxgiving. My mom and I were with my stepdad when he died after it. We were kinda traumatized by how it all went down. So we'd talk it out every year. Now she's gone too and there's just...the grief. And the face I will put on as everyone comes to my house. Again.

I really think some of these trans accounts are trolls to make the community look bad. It’s impossible that there are so many toxic trans people on one site.

No, I do not “pick on” trans people, I have never done anything like this. And frankly, I think the willingness of some people to completely invent accusations of transphobia in the desperate search for a cudgel against ideological opponents suggests they don’t really care about transphobia
