None of us are helpless on the local level.

Everyone can do something to make a difference.

Every little thing counts! City council meetings. Volunteering. Picking up trash in the park. Helping your neighbor plant flowers. Smiling at strangers!

Yeah people keep making the mistake of thinking the cops will listen to Pritzker. If they were willing to arrest other cops, then we wouldn't have a police brutality issue.

What's really obscene is outsiders hoping for some kind of civil war. if Chicagoans want Pritzker to escalate, okay, but some rando from other state, or worse, from SWEDEN (as happened earlier today)? Shut up. You want people to risk their lives because you are bored and think this should be over.

The military is already straight up executing people without trial so I'm not confident they will disobey illegal orders against people who look like the ones they just executed without trial.

I'm saying it wouldn't get to cops vs. troops because the cops would just release the agent.

And if they did arrest agents, Trump will send troops into the neighborhoods to do the kidnapping instead. Now the problem is even worse.

It's a waste of time to focus on cops arresting them.

My point is not "it's hopeless!" My point is stop wasting time thinking about the one weird trick that will definitely not work (and doesn't cost you anything) and find stuff that will work.
