I hate that the go-to for liberals for the Guard is to call them all "Gayrd" and fat. Why are we "resisting" fascism with fatphobic and homophobic language? It just proves that in their mind fat and gay people are lesser, even if we do best fascism and I hate it

The amount of threads I've been in with people telling trans people to "suck it up" and sacrifice their rights for whatever is happening right now and when trans people push back they say something like "I *was* on your side but now you're making me uncomfortable and enjoy the camps" is wild

When I was a young boy, my mother would often give me warm hot dog water with a little lemon and honey for a sore throat. Now I drink it simply to feel the warmth on my hands on a cold, grey morning and pretend that I can still hear her in the next room getting ready to take me to school.

That out. And even then it doesn't tell you someone ethnicity, it just tells you where they reproduced with other people and shared genetics. It tells you nothing about that person. But he just doubled down on how he's a first year zoology student who likes reptiles and so he's smart enough to do it

I've even tried explaining to him that DNA tests are just a data correlation exercise. You can't *tell* the Roma are from that region by looking at the DNA. You just looked at data correlation from self reports and mesh it with your sample and go "that's pretty correlated," but he wouldn't even take

I think we should be doing the opposite of deescalating rhetoric on the left, because there has basically been nobody treating this with the urgency it deserves. Especially the liberals, especially the democrats. These people are Nazis, we are living under a literal Nazi regime.

This is so untrue. White people openly spoke about Replacement Theory and "extra bones/muscles" in the 90s.

Overt racists didn't form their own orgs. They adapted and learned to use dog whistles to infiltrate more legitimate orgs. The KKK all but died because legitimate orgs supported racist ideals

My parents' generation was super racist, but they took pains to hide it from us. So a lot of young conservatives in the 90s and early aughts were earnest small government and/or evangelical types.

As I said, the overt racists and radicals had to form their own orgs.

Also, "Ernest evangelicals" as if Christian Churches weren't one of the main segments where these lies were spread. Anti-science such as Young Earth, anti-vax, anti-evolution was mainstream to teach to young children in these places. Children were actively encouraged to challenge their teachers

1)My grandparents in the 90s said the n word about everything. They'd blame bad weather on "those damn **" white people in my church growing up openly talked about Replacement Theory and "extra bones."
