many service animators come home exhausted, ready to do a different job or a different thing to earn money. So many studios can treat them as frame crunchers - most of the time there isint even time to THINK about 'what makes a scene good.'

The "Frieren angle" thing, apart from just being delightful, also completely demolishes the pathetic "AI is democratising art" argument. Someone struggling with a difficult drawing received advice from hundreds of strangers who just wanted to help them improve their art.

the trick of it is you can even do this so well YOU don't recognize that you are autistic, and that's dangerous territory
thing about autism is if you work really hard for many years, you can learn through trial-and-error how to navigate social situations and interpersonal connections SO effectively that people don't really believe you're autistic anymore and resent you for not being perfect at nonverbal communication

that's a wrap on Stray Children. still can't discuss much at all in the backhalf without spoilers, so instead, some things i think would be good for people to check out when thinking about the game and its themes. not as a 'the TRUE MEANING OF' or 'HIDDEN REFERENCE' way but just that: thinking.

This Inazuma Eleven game is nuts, Im doing these Rock Paper Scissors rpg battles that are used in the soccer portion of the game, but they’re recontextualized for social situations in the opening of the story mode.
