Even if Baroque Shooting is just a decent shmup that lets players experience the art, aesthetic, and music of Baroque, I'm spending $15 on this and begging for a physical localization of the original game in English.

Angel's Egg is one of the most profound and profoundly beautiful things I've ever seen. Towering parable of faith and destiny. Beautiful neo-baroque aesthetics and otherworldly imagery. Glad my first time was the lovely 4K restoration.

Anodyne 2 is one of the best indie games ever made.
It gives the games a very friendly, cozy aftertaste. This sense that the artist is overjoyed that you liked the experience enough to want to talk to them (or, at least, their videogame facsimile) about it afterwards.
