Please support @liberalcurrents.com . We don't just call the president openly corrupt, which he obviously is. We also say stuff like the screencapped below.

Your donations will be matched until we hit 70k! gofund.me/a5b2b33d8

you know how in some places in Europe it's not actually a crime to try to break out of jail? I think that should be true for "resisting an officer." Like I don't think resisting arrest should be a crime.
Freelance photojournalist @davedeckerphoto.bsky.social was arrested while reporting on an immigration protest outside an ICE facility in Miami on Nov. 22.

He was held in custody for 30-plus hours and released with charges of trespassing and resisting an officer.

I feel like an important news media personality incredulously asks this question every six months and gets the same answer.
Anderson Cooper: So it's more expensive to have a chronically homeless person living on the streets than it is to actually subsidize an apartment for them?

Answer: Yes, we’re paying more as taxpayers to walk past that person on the street and do nothing… #HousingFirst

Nursing home magnate Joseph Schwartz was sentenced in April to 3 years for defrauding the government of $38 million.

Around that time, he reportedly paid $960,000 to lobbyists “seeking a federal pardon.”

Trump pardoned him earlier this month.

If you would like to understand Benny's principles, here's a story. While at IJR on the day of the 2015 Roanoke shooting, Benny cried in the newsroom. Not because of the shooting itself, but because we told him he wasn't allowed to post the video of the murder on the website.
Benny Johnson had perhaps the best 2025 of any streamer on the right, drawing more than 1 billion YouTube views as he hobnobbed with Trump administration power players and GOP elites.

I think one of the things I am getting extremely tired of is the expectation that I can't describe things the way they are. I don't know what to say to the idea that calling Trump a Fascist is going to hurt Dems' electoral chances, but I just don't see a political movement enjoying long term success
OPINION: "Calling the president a fascist does nothing to advance the Democrats’ cause — and more of the party’s leaders would do well to realize that." — Jonathan Zimmerman
