Labour's internal polling must be showing a flood of their voters going Green.

The normal thing to do (according to so-called political wisdom) would be to barely acknowledge the party exists while taking and neutering enough of their policies to peel away support.

They're absolutely freaking out.
Watch as Rachel Reeves brands Greens leader Zack Polanski a 'keen hypnotherapist'

🗣️ 'The only things getting bigger under his approach would be the deficit and the rise of inflation'

Today, Labour is going to announce a return to PFI for the NHS- which is a total disaster. But they’ve renamed it the “NHS neighbourhood rebuild”. Don’t be fooled 🚨

I’ve explained what’s going on in this piece I’ve just written- open.substack.com/pub/jujuliag...

First person I've seen at a firestation shooting up the poll
Great to spend time today with firefighter watch at Poplar Fire Station.

Always an absolute honour to spend time with people who spend their lives keeping us safe.

Thank you. ✊🏼

Doing away with trial by jury in a country with no written constitution and with an extreme right wing party leading in the polls. What could possibly go wrong?
💥Jury trials for all except most serious crimes such as rape, murder and manslaughter set to be scrapped under radical proposals drawn up by David Lammy.

Proposals drew swift backlash from senior lawyers who said they would not reduce court backlogs & could “destroy justice as we know it”.

You know for a fact they're only doing this because juries are routinely finding anti-genocide and climate change protestors innocent.
Bit of a test case here for “is liberalism still a real thing, or is it just a political version of a collection of Labubus that you show off to your friends” IMO.

Support your library. The more people who use it the harder it is to cut their services.

I honestly can't imagine how my early childhood would've looked without good public libraries.

Massive profiteering from PFI. After 25-30 years assets need to be in good condition before transfer to the public body. Then the company goes bust.

It should be remembered that during the pandemic, the Labour leadership went along with most government policy proposals, and when the shadow education secretary sided with teachers' unions in opposing the disastrous policy to reopen schools, Keir Starmer sacked her.
