I want to stress his talent because I don’t like the idea that a bad person can’t be an Adams level creator. We always write creators off when we don’t like them as people. No. Adams was a master of his form, especially in the 90s. But he was a truly rancid soul. And that will destroy all he did.

Scott Adams leaves a cautionary tale. Most of the people wishing ill on him today were rabid fans. They hate him because they loved his work and he hated them. I still think his prose books are some of the best comedy ever published. I think his strip was art. I hate him.
