i spent most of yesterday cutting and installing baseboards and nothing has made my husband laugh harder than when i was dealing with a corner that was NOT square and i used trigonometry to figure out my cut angles. it worked though!!!

when i was in school one of the costume tech grad students brought her cat, Tom Selleck, to hang out in the costume shop all day under the ironing table. and every subsequent year in my professional career i am more and more envious of that move
