Time & time again I am blown away by my Nikon Z7ii & jack-of-all-trades old f-mount 28-300mm lens. I was easily about 80m from these waves (I didn't want to put footprints in the sane for Aurora shots), look how freaking sharp the waves are (bottom ones in particular).

We are all experiencing severe funding cuts, seeing social services decimated, and seeing our communities hurting and hungry while this govt gives money to Michelin reviewers and tobacco companies and their donors pet projects. Those injustices are fueling a lot of anger and political energy.

a pākeha mate was arrested and held in cells in chch after an alleged assault. strip searched, belt removed, shoes taken, held 24hrs. complained to his lawyer about this but got no sympathy. ' you got preferential treatment. i defend māori and p.i. they have reason to complain. you don't.'
