Any belief held to the extreme is wrong, be it religious, political or personal. Any kind of extremism is ultimately evil.

Absolutely disgusting!

Moving forward, we have to do a deep dive on our future candidates.

Fetterman should have never been allowed to run as a Dem. Santos, Sinema, etc. were never Democrats.

One of the most self-destructive things Germany could do is to reverse the green transition now.

Renewables expansion has been on a tear but Germany has seen reversals before, unfortunately. And the country still does not have oil or gas and isn’t getting any anytime soon (ever).

I recommend checking out this documentary: Ordinary Men, on Netflix.

It’s bleak, but a fascinating look at the psychology of the men in Germany’s murder battalions.

I was surprised it’s been out since 2022. It’s pretty clear how so much of this directly maps to 2025 America.

It can’t be a coincidence that Netflix chose this moment in time to stream the 2022 German TV doc “Ganz normale Männer – Der ‘vergessene Holocaust,'” “Ordinary M…

And the bigger problem is the worst kept secret in the world. TONS of countries have copied the US Constitution. States too. Bicameral legislatures, separation of powers. NONE included the "lets give all counties an equal voice regardless of population" structure of the Senate.

Following up on this. This remains a ‘cave is minutes or hours away’ situation. If you want to impact how this plays out you need to contact senators literally now. I want to add additional points of context. What I’m relaying is what I’ve picked up from highly reliable sources.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

The Dems who are caving are doing so not because their base wants them to,

not because the voters want them to,

not because the fed workers and SNAP recipients want them to…

they are caving because their DONORS want them to.

And that’s really all that ever matters to the corrupt

Remember when Elon Musk said Jeff Bezos’ ex-wife MacKenzie Scott was destroying Western civilization by giving billions to charities for women, minorities, and marginalized groups?

After learning about his comment, she doubled her donations.

Perfect response.

So the oldest person ever to become president keeps falling asleep in his office during public events and there’s no big public discussion on how this is a coverup or how republicans are lying to us about how this government is running?

Really great piece tying extractive model of AI to its bubble.
“Every person using ChatGPT costs OpenAI more money then they pay them. Every free and paying user asking how to make a fluffy omelette or getting it to draft an email to their kid's teacher drains their resources.”

The Gist: AI, The Sound and Fury
We can calculate the amount of money flowing into AI. But what will the full cost be to society when the bubble pops? This is the Gist.

When deception’s more profitable than honesty, users lose.

Internal documents suggest that Meta earns $3.5B(!) every 6 mo. from scam ads, revealing a deeper systemic problem: the economic incentive to tolerate “higher legal risk” content still outweighs any penalty. www.reuters.com/investigatio...
Meta is earning a fortune on a deluge of fraudulent ads, documents show
Meta projected 10% of its 2024 revenue would come from ads for scams and banned goods, and it internally estimates that its platforms show users 15 billion scam ads a day, company documents show.

Tesla’s profit fell 37% in the third quarter. It's been in the process of laying off 14,000 workers. It had more cars impacted by recalls than any other brand in 2024.

Yet Elon Musk just got a pay package worth $1 trillion.

American capitalism is off the rails.

Why is Elon Musk so dangerous?

Because he is an unstable, extremely ambitious man with far too much money and power who overestimates his grasp of societal issues, has unresolved issues affecting his views, and still craves more influence.

That mix breeds death and chaos, just like with DOGE

It’s not some radical left idea to say that it’s unhealthy for society when a few people hold obscene amounts of wealth and power.

When people like Elon Musk hold that much influence, the US starts to look like an oligarchy, and that’s dangerous for the entire world
