Trump is effectively imposing sanctions on Denmark for deploying troops *in its own territory*. Imagine if China sanctioned the US for deploying troops to Alaska. What conclusion would we draw then?
Trump slaps allies with Greenland tariffs. From Feb 1, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, UK, Netherlands, and Finland face 10% on all exports. June 1, it jumps to 25%.

Which economy is more productive - Germany or the US? It seems the answer would be clear, but it's not.

The mood in Germany is so deeply negative, even aggressively pessimistic, that I thought we had fallen behind by a lot. But here are the facts - they surprised me as well:

Putin wanted a multipolar world. Trump has given it to him. And we're going to all witness how unstable, violent and chaotic that world is.
Meanwhile in Russia: Vladimir Solovyov was quite unhappy about the first 10 days of 2026. Referring to Trump's rhetoric about Greenland and Venezuela, Solovyov urged Russia to start more "special military operations" to secure its sphere of influence.

As if they haven't been trying that for the last almost 4 years already. It's not a "threat". "Moscow's terms" are mostly the same as the very objectives of the war.

The "peace talks" remain a largely meaningless process to influence or manipulate Trump.
Putin threatens that if Ukraine refuses Moscow’s terms, Russia will “solve everything by war.” At the same time, the Kremlin claims its forces have captured Huliaipole and Myrnohrad. Another round of intimidation, lies and fantasy victories.

„If Putin says no, we need to dramatically change the game, including giving Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine to hit the drone and missile factories that exist in Russia. I will go all-in if Putin says no.“

"Nuclear weapons for Nordic countries" – good to see such discussions. However, any new nuclear umbrella that may materialise should cover the Baltic states.

Also, the premise that it's unrealistic for eastern flank states to obtain nuclear weapons is wrong.

If Ukraine actually gave up Donbas (which is simply not feasible and almost certainly won't happen), this would go down on history as one of the biggest mistakes ever made. It would not lead to peace, Russia would keep attacking, just from a much better starting position.

Witkoff is playing Trump like a puppet. Just read the transcript.

The question is, who is mastering #Witkoff?

Russians, of course, but who in the US? Vance? Thiel? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Don't say that he is acting alone, not buying it.

Other question: who is now frying him? (I would like to thank that person)

Until Trump became President the USA had never legally supported reducing the size of a democracy in favor of a dictatorship. That era is now over--and what it means for the future is ominous.

One thing that is not getting enough attention is that Trump has normalized the idea of the United States supporting the transfer of territory and millions of people from a democracy to a dictatorship.
The ending of freedom for millions is now the official US position.
