Some days you just gotta Blair Witch
You heard him, democrats: you don’t need a warrant to apprehend this traitorous motherfucker or the chamber of sycophants
Mike Johnson speaks out against the use of judicial warrants in immigration cases:

"Imagine if we had to go through the process of getting a judicial warrant"

Love how these fucking tools don’t address one word of the criticism levied at them by Kat.

Fuck the Tribune.
From the Editorial Board: Kat Abughazaleh made a show of declining (sending a spokesman, for goodness sake) to be part of the editorial board’s endorsement interviews after first informing us she would attend.

I work with a real jerk, can't stand him, don't even think he knows my name. Today he's suddenly the nicest guy here. Knows my name, knows everyone's name. He's playing the piano. Just saw him surprise a young couple with wrestlemania tickets.

It's an exciting week when half the academics who pen bestselling works of vast expanse and authority on hot topics have clearly spent their time assuring a convicted pedophile who can barely write a sentence how brilliant he is.

Something tells me that eventually we are going to learn that Gamergate and Comicsgate also sprung from that den of pedophiles and I am simply going to walk into the ocean with thoughts of yellow wallpaper.
Considering that 4chan's /pol/ board was the originating website of the #EndFathersDay hoax that directly led to #YourSlipIsShowing

& that /pol/ was started because of an email between the site's founder and Jeffery Epstein

This means that Epstein has a direct effect on my life & Shafiqah's life.

I hate that it's impossible to tell if a company is supporting Trump out of greed, racism, or the desire to hide a CEO's pedophilia anymore.

‘To call Melania vapid would do a disservice to the plumes of florid vape smoke that linger around British teenagers. She calls herself a “mother, wife, daughter, friend”, yet is only depicted preening and scowling.‘

How we defining “hard” here? Gaiman was an easy fucking decision but also the biggest impact on, like, the culture I’ve absorbed and media I enjoy, and I don’t even really fuck with Sandman.
Question for the Skyline: What was your HARDEST "cancel"?? Like the actor/singer/athlete that was the hardest to drop.

I feel like it's always people I don't fw getting canceled so it's never really a loss.

The hardest one was maybe TI because I actually liked multiple albums by him.

This is one of my favorite comics so few people know about.

Reading it and Busiek/Immonen’s Secret Identity are what caused me to rethink Superman, who has since become my favorite hero.

A couple of years ago, I reached out to @wyrmsfornerves.bsky.social, @cabbagecomics.bsky.social, and @bertacious.bsky.social to collab with me on an experimental parable wrapping up my feelings on this current breed of Christian Fascism.

It's titled MONOLITH.

Just need to blast milketoast politicians like @schumer.senate.gov with evidence of what real change looks like.

This is the minimum. ICE to be hunted down like the Nazis were.
"If we have to hunt you down, the way they hunted down Nazis for decades, we will find your identities. We will find you. We will achieve justice. And we will do so under the Constitution and laws of the United States."

This is always a concern to me as a science teacher, especially in physics, a science that the average person doesn’t know a ton about.

I don’t know why people wouldn’t start off any entry-level class this way specifically

Maybe not math, although I’d personally lead with it if teaching calculus.
Are the humanities the only disciplines whose classes begin with modules speaking to the importance of studying the humanities? "Why study the humanities?" and "Why the humanities are important" must be cliches.

I’m all for this change.
But it should have been an open call to the community, initiated months ago. Not 6 days prior.
HCD is important to me. I take pains to plan in advance and ensure I have childcare, that I’m not on deadline, and that I can bring together local artists to draw in community.
Hourly Comics Day has MOVED!

It's the 20th anniversary and we're taking a stand alongside our Black cartoonist members and friends to demand a change to honor Black History Month- draw your comics on the 8th, not the 1st!
