I pay the blogs/stackers I respect the most (less than 10!) but otherwise it’s an HDTV antenna now and Bluesky. Local news isn’t perfect but it’s better than all… this *waves arms*. The streaming model failed a long time ago at informing us in any meaningful way
I don't find this surprising, but I do hope media companies learn from the latest poll that shows people do not, for the most part, think they should pay for news. It's time to think about a different approach.

I just got yelled at by some asshole at a CVS pharmacy (of course it was) , the guy was clearly in his late 70s, and I looked him straight in the eye, and I said dude, you have lived longer than anyone in my family AND you’re still working. You can go fuck yourself right now. Get away.

I can’t get enough of The White Lotus. I don’t know if it’s my own experiences or what, being dirt poor as a kid and then having gone to 5-star resorts before, but this show is spectacular. Everything about it. Jennifer Coolidge. Absolutely everything. I’ve re-watched three seasons of it twice.
