He only says “I don’t know who he/she is” when he knows exactly who the person is.
Is the Washington Post trying to build up Republican support for Platner’s senate run?
It is immoral and unethical to back into a marked parking space. It is downright psychotic to back into a diagonal marked parking space in a parking deck with one-way lanes.

Sliwa to Cuomo: You’re gonna stand up to Trump? You Andrew Cuomo? You lost your own primary and you’re still here because you don’t know the meaning of the word “no”

Mamdani: I agree with Curtis.
I wonder if he will follow the honored tradition of military leaders under Trump who refused to say a single fucking word about all the illegality they witnessed until years later when it’s too late to make any difference.
“Top Democrats” plan to oust Fetterman, who is now nearly universally despised by democrats, and somehow this will “tear the party apart.”
SCOOP: Top Democrats in Pennsylvania are maneuvering to run against Sen. John Fetterman in a 2028 primary, threatening to tear the party apart in the biggest battleground state in the nation.

This line from Mamdani's father just really struck me. Great profile:

“I was an Indian in Uganda. I was a Muslim in India. And I was all of these things in New York City,” Mahmood Mamdani explained to his son. And “to be a minority is also to see the truth of the place amidst the promise of it.”
we’ll see how his mayoral tenure shakes out but i am convinced that Mamdani has the juice. not just the charisma to win an election but the temperament to govern and the measured pragmatism of someone who genuinely believes what they’re saying and wants to accomplish real things.

I guess Ryan doesn’t understand that in American ideomatic discourse, when people say “FUCK ICE,” which everyone is saying, the “abolish” is implied.
Don Lemon might have run a corny show on CNN but right now he is doing some really great on the street interview work in Chicagoland.

MAGA think Trump’s brinksmanship is laser-focused and causes world leaders to buckle under his threats. But what self-respecting leader of a major world power would back down from a cognitively compromised liar who can’t be trusted to honor his end of a deal? Why demean yourself and your nation?
