Something I feel oddly grateful to tumblr for is that when I pause to read or click to expand something, I don't feel algorithm guilt that I'm going to mess up my timeline. Beshit it up with one-off nonsense I clicked on. It's not watching me in that specific way, the way youtube and twitter do.

Another library book I got on the last day they’d hold it for me. I feared that it would be a bit advanced for me because I never played later gen MMOs, but then the author opened with an intro straight up naming WoW, an 8 page glossary, and a prologue quote by Kael’thas. This was made for ME.

Okay so it took me 10 days apparently but I then read it in two days and uh. Well. Highly recommend and loved this one. HIGHKEY wangxian vibes and was delighted at how fae and Burial Mounds the magic was, I was prepared initially for more HP-like magic but this has CLEAR other influences. Delighted!
The thing about adhd brain and requesting books from the library as soon as I hear about it is that it’s been a few weeks and I have no idea where I heard of this book and don’t even know what it was about. But it’s about queer sorcerers?? Enemies to lovers by the sounds of it? Okay, thanks past me!

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.
