So Trump posted his weird angry pissing on the Reiners’ graves before they’re even dug yet post in what feels like a week after you could be banned on social media and some maladjusted little dweebs could get you fired from your job for saying that Charlie Kirk had it coming.

Honestly kind of surprised how many TGA things were actually up my alley this year- new Ace Combat, new Mega Man, Control 2, lotta Capcom, a pretty wild trailer for new Divinity, Ben Starr in eyeliner.

lol why do they keep doing this. Hoping you forgot about that kotor remake announcement.
Last night's biggest surprise was Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, led by Casey Hudson, who directed KOTOR (and Anthem). Exciting news for lots of people... but Lucasfilm says the studio was founded this year, which means that 2030 is an *optimistic* guess. Maybe it'll be a PlayStation 7 game

Sure seemed like Geoff Keighley got ahead of people expecting some sort of acknowledgement of layoffs, studio closures, AI bullshit, and another exceedingly dreadful year for people working in the games industry by opening The Game Awards with, “My dad died, what a bad year it’s been for me.”

*And* it looks like utter shit. An emblematic timestamp.
Representing oligarchs as working class heroes is a new low…even for us.

A key component to being an artist is looking at a work and thinking, “Am I really this much of a piece of shit? Has my entire life been a waste? Maybe I should have joined the army.” before ashamedly calling it finished and starting in on something else. A machine could never.
One of the many reasons AI can't produce good writing is it can't hate its own writing. It can't think to itself "Maybe I'm illiterate" during the writing process. And that's essential

This is true about every single thing in our lives.
One of the producers on Guilty Gear Strive said it was basically impossible to source player feedback on balance changes online because nobody had original opinions and would just parrot what the most popular content creators said and so they had to rely on data and I think about that every day.
