I've actually commissioned three separate artists for their takes on this character because I'm so excited to play her in the new year, so here's round two!
A woman in a white and silver nun's outfit. Any exposed skin is wrapped in linens like a mummy. Her face is a completely blank white mask. A silver halo floats above her head. She carries a white and silver staff with a starry spear blade and a silver tower shield. All aspects of her outfit have silver detailing and embroidery, and she has ornate pauldrons.

Bong Joon Ho took a characteristically radical approach when questioned on his thoughts around the rise of Al technology at the jury press conference of the Marrakech Film Festival on Saturday. The Korean director, who is president of the jury, gave two responses, one measured, the other deeply personal. "My official answer is, Al is good because it's the very beginning of the human race finally seriously thinking about what only humans can do. But my personal answer is, I'm going to organize a military squad, and their mission is to destroy AI," he said.

last week i remembered that macOS lets you set your own icons and that *I* have the power to delegitimize the professionalism of the software that runs on my machine, so here's a thread of the 16 new icons i've made so far

The myatproto.social thing is a great idea, love to not be reliant on weirdo bsky mods, but it's clear from the huge amount of spam bots with handles from it that they're not set up to handle such things.

I'm not exactly someone who has done the Reading to be able to back all this up but my naive belief is that traffic enforcement should be completely separate from the police but also have WAY stronger penalties. There are plenty of people out there who should have lost their license many times over.

My strongest held unpopular opinion is that every red light should have a red light camera and every car should have a governor hooked up to GPS so it can adjust to city driving.

Also if you do run a red light your license is revoked. Maaaybe a two strike policy.
